Through the website, they can provide an audio visual presentation of the products and services available. It used to be that you had to cajole, persuade, argue and simply create pressure for someone to join your program. Now you can create a unique website of your own and display the products, services and earning potential offered by you.

You can then advertise your website in other media. People who are willing to join or purchase your product do so by seeing the details on the website. This process eliminates the pressure sale. You do not have to make a single approach to individuals, as they will come to you.

Some people say that a network marketing business cannot be run online. Those who have been successful in online network marketing say that there are certain misconceptions along this line.

Similarities Between the Two Methods The first misconception on Internet and network marketing is that people will come to the website and the business will run on its own. Exclusively online business does not necessarily mean that you will never need to speak to a stranger on the telephone.

The commonality between Internet and network marketing is that both deal with numbers. Anyone doing Internet business will tell you that his main focus is to get more traffic. It is the same in the case of network marketing.

If you want to be successful in Internet and network marketing, you will have to promote your website. You will need to create a subscriber base, publish a monthly newsletter or ezine on the subject. Remember, all of this will take time to develop.
